Cleaning without chemicals

Cleaning without added detergent is central to the Decitex approach. The practical starting point is to use the textile and a suitable method where they can remove the soil effectively. Product choice and application always belong together.

Make cleaning with water a deliberate choice

First identify what needs removing. Loose dust, light daily soil, grease, limescale and stubborn deposits do not all require the same approach. Then choose a cloth whose manufacturer describes that application. Decitex V200 Infinite, for example, is intended for smooth surfaces.

Prepare moisture according to the product’s method. A damp cloth is different from a wet cloth; avoid leaving increasing amounts of water or detergent on the surface by guesswork.

Work with clean cloth faces

Fold the cloth according to the working method and use clean faces in sequence. Work systematically rather than spreading soil repeatedly over the same area. Replace the cloth when required by the protocol or when visibly dirty or saturated.

Colour coding helps distinguish work zones. It is an operating agreement, not a self-cleaning property of the colour. Document the arrangement and apply it during storage, transport and laundering too.

Use a targeted addition where required

Where cleaning with water does not suit the soil or required protocol, select an Ecosustain product for the surface, instructions and dosage. Adding detergent does not automatically make an unsuitable cloth or method appropriate. Disinfection is a separate process decision.
