Laundering microfibre correctly

Good care starts with the correct item code. Cloths and mops do not all have the same composition, permitted temperature or service life. Organise laundering around the products actually used in your process.

Read the configuration’s protocol

For NT100 Infinite, the technical table specifies 60 °C, a maximum of 95 °C, no bleach and no fabric softener. These are product-specific details, not washing instructions for every Decitex textile.

Do not automatically adopt a maximum temperature as the standard programme. Match the full wash cycle to the soil, product instructions and required hygiene procedure. Check the permitted drying method separately.

Separate clean and used textiles

Collect used textiles under the organisation’s procedure and prevent contact with clean stock. Sort where the product or process requires it and avoid uncontrolled mixing with materials that can leave residues.

Loading, detergent dosage and rinsing are parts of a controlled wash process. More detergent or higher temperatures do not automatically compensate for incorrect loading or insufficient rinsing. Store clean textiles in the condition specified by the preparation and use protocol.

Monitor performance during use

A stated wash-cycle count applies under the described conditions. Also check for wear, damaged edges, unwanted residues and reduced performance in practice. Define replacement criteria rather than counting cycles alone.

If instructions are missing or sources conflict, check with the manufacturer before changing the wash programme.
